About Aquatic Health Resources

Aquatic Health Resources provides disease management products to the fish farming industry, and the services to get new products through regulatory approval and out to the market.

Dr. Thomas Goodrich, George Kohan and Michael Blum are the principal members of Aquatic Health Resources (AHR).

Dr. Goodrich, Ph.D., MS, BS, is the AHR Scientific Director. He has extensive experience in new product development and registration, regulatory affairs, facility permitting and division profitability. He is a globally recognized expert in animal health regulatory affairs and vaccinology. Dr. Goodrich also has extensive international business experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Goodrich serves on the Joint Subcommittee on Aquaculture, Working Group on Aquaculture Drugs, Biologics and Pesticides.

Mr. Kohan is the Managing Director of AHR. He has over a quarter century of animal health health experience in sales, marketing and product promotion for feed grade antibiotics, biologics and water-soluble products. He is recognized throughout North and South America for his expertise in new business development, regulatory affairs, production, distribution and finance. Mr. Kohan serves on the Joint Subcommittee on Aquaculture, Working Group on Aquaculture Drugs, Biologics and Pesticides.

Mr. Blum is AHR's Director of Legal Affairs and CFO. His legal background includes Vice President and general counsel of Alpharma's Animal Health Division and Chief Trademark Counsel of Alpharma Inc. (NYSE: ALO). Representative duties in addition to intellectual property included negotiating, drafting and closing asset and share purchase and sale agreements, product sales and distribution agreements, raw material purchase agreements, toll manufacturing agreements, joint venture agreements, agency agreements, research and development agreements, logistic services agreements, license agreements, etc. Prior to joining Alpharma, Mr. Blum practiced Intellectual Property law in New York City.
